how can I open the mesh file which is available in Fluent CD in the gambit inorder to modify the geometry or the boundary conditions?

Hi; You should in Gambit at first set the solver to Fluent, then go to the "file" menue and "import" your mesh file (not case file)from your working directory of Gambit.

ERROR: The Fidap Neutral file header (record 1) is non-standard.

Simply answer: do not try to open mesh in gambit.
If you create gambit geometry it is stored like vectors. Mesh contains set of points. I tryed to export mesh and re-read mesh but it caused data loss... Use gambit files instead... |
