Hi,
I think that the flow aroud a bullet is super sonic flow, isn't it?. This kind of flow, selecting Fluent solver is to be important. Fluent's version is not important(every version Fluent what were released before can calculate it(except FLUENT4)). Select "Coupled-Implicit" or "Coupled-Explicit". (Default solver is "Segregated" and this solver does not suit your problem. It is also able to calculate but the accuracy is not good for high mach number flow). I recommend "Coupled-Explict", this solver is similar with RAMPANT. Thank you FJ |

Hi I am not sure but i think that you should create a control valume and set bullet in it . yuo can use rotational motion for wall bc of bullet or its solid(in wall panel or solid panel).if you supposed that overseer det on bullet you can yus vilocity inlet for simulate its forward motion. by. Amir.
