Hey.
I'm having somewhat of a peculiar problem. I've created a couple of volumes from text files I've imported as ICEM data. It seems that GAMBIT (2.1.6) can't quite manage meshing some of these volumes. Some of them are meshed beautifully on the other hand. The problem manifests itself by gambit.exe having to shut down. I haven't found this defect on fluentusers.com... |

Gambit sometimes crushes because there is not enough memory space in your computer. anni

it is not always related to memory as i have also found out many times that for some imported geometry even if the mesh size is small it crashes, there are some internal bugs the way it handels the surfaces

Hi y'all!
I think you just hit the sore spot there, zxaar. I solved the problem of meshing a volume by first meshing the surrounding surfaces manually. |
