Heat Transfer - help needed quickly!!

Hi all, Ive done a search on this but cant find much to help so thought I would post the question.
I am tring to model a computer case, Its includes a CPU fan, case fan, and outlet. I ran this simple analysis and it went fine. However, i am now modeling the CPU and heat sink with heat transfer. The model is as follows, a small block which has been subtracted from the fluid domain (it is attach to the wall of the fluid domain (the casing)) so that it gives me a small face to apply the CPU temperature. attached to this small surface is the heat sink (is is subtracted from the fluid domain too). Is this the correct way of modelling it, or does the heat sink need to be its own volume?? what boundery conditions need to be applied?? thanks |
