Default porosity in packed bed with eulerian multiphase

Hi,

I am simulating a packed bed with two fluids flowing thru the bed.

I would be highly obliged if any one can tell me as to how to specify the porosity of packed bed in Fluent 6.2 which also has a packed bed option but here I cannot find a way of specifiying porosity. I am using eulerian multiphase model.

I do not want to use the porous media option since I want to use my own drag interaction terms through UDF.

Thanks sree

Hi all.

I am new to fluent. Please tell me where to how and where to patch the udf for variation in solid volume fraction in Fluent 15.0.

P.S: My udf's are already compiled and loaded.
Please reply at soumendu.dasgupta@gmail.com

Thanks
