Hello,

there is a part in the fluent manual which says that for an axisymmetric model, we must model such that the axis of rotation is the x axis. What do you mean?

Suppose I have a conical model, must I use a coordinate system such that it is lying along the x -axis. i.e. the centerline cutting through the tip of the cone is parallel to the x axis and not the y-axis, meaning it cannot be an upright cone?

Thanks a lot for anyone who can help.
