shadymody is on a distinguished road
hi,

I am simulating an urban microclimate over a 4 sqm area using Fluent in a transient simulation.

For the ground, I am using a wall boundary condition with shell conduction model where I have multiple layers of different materials for the ground and other surfaces.

My question is: how do I calculate heat storage in the ground layer over a time period? also how to make sure thermal mass is doing the job (objects that store head at the day release it during the night)? is this possible or what

Thanks in advance
