I am trying to investigate the effect of spin of a free body sphere on the surrounding air pressure and air velocity (viewing the results as pressure contour plots and velocity vector plots in Fluent). I am looking to investigate the effects for spin about the x-axis and z-axis. Does anyone know how to go about solving this 3D problem? I have tried modelling the sphere as a void in the domain.

Modelling the sphere as a void in the domain is correct. Simply set the boundary condition of the wall that makes up the sphere as a moving wall with an angular velocity.
