Peristaltic Motion

Hi there , I want to know that if peristaltic motion (the one that is shown by bolus inside the Oesophaghus or the blood flow in arteries or the flow of fluid in the ureter) has been explored the FEV (finite element/volume) way, if yes could any one site the relevant link to some enlightening example describing how its possible to model the flow via FLUENT or direct from C / C++ codes.
