Hi body!
How about your 3D pipe? Is it inside grid or outside grid generation? Pah |

Dear Pah,
Thanks a lot for your attention. My pipe is just a common pipe, it should be inside grid. I need to use it to validate a new turbulence model. sarah |

Hi Sarah!
Is your problem making grid inside a smooth pipe? If so, I recommned you follow the toturial number 11 in the Gridgen help field. (I use the Gridgen 15.08). In that toturial, they use the hybrid grid system, close to the pipe's wall is Structured grid but in the centerline is unstructured grid. I think it is Ok. However, you can also create whole structured grid inside pipe. If you need anymore, feel free to ask! Pah |

Dear Pah,
Thanks a lot! But I found the tutorial 11 is 11. Tension Bar: Feature Extraction, is this correct one? regards, sarah |

Maybe You and me are using two diffirent versions and the order of the toturials is difference. (My version is 15.08)
The title of the toturial that I recommend to you is "Droplet in a Cylinder: Hybrid Grid". In this toturial, there is a part which related to your interesting. And you just need this part. If you still have problem with this one or you can not find out the toturial. You can send email to me at hungaerospace@yahoo.com. Pah |

Sarah,
What particular problem are you having with the pipe? What type of grid are you trying to generate? |
