I am working on annular flow modelling with VOF model. VOF model is very unstable to capture annular flow's details. Interface position is important for me but I could find any satisfactory solution. How can I can get better solutions with Fluent's VOF model? Is someone there who can help me to provide information for this problem? Thanks already

Maybe you need to try unsteady simulation. I solve VOF with tiny time step before and found the result satisfactory. Maybe you also need to apply 2nd order discretisation too. regards, Jolius

Dear Mr. Mohammed are you consider the two phase flow in your case as stratified or no. gave me your answer in my email below: khalidb77@yahoo.co.uk
