Hello everyone,
I am getting the following error just at the beginning of my Polyflow simulation: Buffering on Disk in C:\DOKUME~1\Markus\LOKALE~1\Temp Alternate path: $TMPDIR (unix) or %TMP% (Windows) Global Memory Information : Swap space : 343.9 Mbytes Disk space : 861.9 Mbytes RAM : 83.4 Mbytes Elimination cost : 328717.7 MFlop Error in SLVMEM Not enough memory (in core / out of core) Only 0.0 of the 77.5 MB for the Schur complements have been allocated All memory for work vectors has been allocated Only 41.7 of the 83.4 MB for active matrices have been allocated I have a Windows XP Pro 32bit Machine with SP2, 2 CPUs (option -opt 128) and 4GB RAM. The 2-dimensional mesh contains only ca. 7000 nodes and the problem is viscoelastic. When using the same dat file and geometry but with a coarser mesh of only ca. 4000 nodes the sim runs fine, and does not even buffer on disk. Does someone know about this problem? And does perhaps someone know of an article that deals with polyflows swap mechanism? regards, Markus |
