wall y+ in combustion model.

Hi, I am working with combustion in boiler. My query is weather the Y+ should be given importance in combustion or not? i use turbulence model as well. Thanks in advance. venky

hi venky, y+ is very important for any kind of simulation.But if you want to maintain it in boiler ,i think it is very difficult because of large domain extent and computer resource limitations. So near combustion zone you should maintain very quality mesh and rest with coarse

hi friends i want to simulate compressible fluid flow from a nozzle and calculate plume temperature distribution. can any body send me the rocket.msh/mprof.c tutorial. i also want the unsteady compressible flow tutorial, nozzle.msh/pexit.
