Hi All,
I have a pulsating flow at inlet of a device. I have calculated the mass flow rate (pulsating) by averaging it over time. The flow is going in. Now I want to calculate the volume flow rate. So I mass averaged the velocity over the inlet face. But the averaged velocity shows the opposite direction. How it is so? Can anybody explains this. Or how to calculate volume flow rate in case of pulsating (transient) flow. |
