Hi all,
Since I'm expected to work from home again I want to launch Fluent on our Linux server at work using the 'Use remote linux nodes' option in the remote tab in the Fluent launcher. This works when I'm at work, connected to the network the server is on as well, but does not work when I connect to the office network via a VPN connection. When I launch Fluent, I see the following error/message in the console window: __________________________________________________ ___ Check your network connections and remote shell configuration. If you are on a slow network or running through a scheduler like lsf or sge, you may choose to wait. Type Ctrl-C to interrupt. 0: mpt_connect: error: connect failed: Connection timed out 0: mpt_connect: error: connect failed: Connection timed out Interrupting client... 0: mpt_connect: error: connect failed: Connection timed out 0: mpt_establish_connection: error: unable to connect: Connection timed out 0: mpt_connect_to_server: error: cannot establish connection; bye.: Connection timed out __________________________________________________ ___ Launching fluent in the parallel-local mode works fine when I'm at home and on the VPN connection, so the license check works. Is anyone familiar with this error message or knows how to solve it? Thanks in advance. Regards. |
