Default punched zone and porous model
Posts: n/a
I'm modeling a gas turbine combustor. The punched zones on the liner are modeled with porous model (alfa=0; calibration with CR). I don't understand the difference between superficial velocity and physical velocity. In my case: 1)In each zone I imposed the porosity (Gamma)parameters. 2)Then I changed CR with the superficial velocity option to calibrate the model (based on fluxes distribution)... 3)The run with physical velocity in postprocessor shows the different fluxes distribution and if I modify CR nothing changes.

Help me. I'm going crazy
