reciprocating compressor and intercoooler ? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

FAR Guest Posts: n/a	Hi, i am trying to simulate the internal fluid flow indside a multistage reciprocating comprssor and increase the overall efficiency (intake/exit volume). But iam interested in modelling the heat rejection by the cooler pipes. MY question is, can i model a problem in such a way ,tat i can carry Fluid flow inside cylinedr using dynamic meshand heat transfer acroo the intercooler pipes which are attched to exhaust of cylinder. Running short of ideas,.......please help. Thanks in advance. FAR
