I work with Fluent 6.3.26 to simulate this case: http://cfd.me.umist.ac.uk/ercofold/d...77/test77.html The first time I launched a simulation in 2D and I had results encouraging which you can see by consulting the following address: http://www.univ-batna.dz/mecanique/j.../4/Article.pdf Note: Excuse me because the article is written in French, but you can consult the graphs. Then I launched a simulation in 3D (models: K-E Realizable and RSM) and it gave very good results. For the continuation of my work I want to use Large Eddy Simulation (LES). I require for your assistance concerning the launching of this technique because it's the first time that I use it, especially this two information: 1. Time step Size 2. Number of time step thank you in advance.

The time step size should be small enough to guarantee the calculation converged. If the calculation can not be converged, the result is nonsensical. The number of time step rests with the total time needed to be calculated. The above is my apprehension, which i wish could offer you help.
