Hello, I'm solving a two-phase unsteady flow using Eulerian model. All the time, the residuals of continuity equation are less than 10-6(between 10-6 and 10-8) but those of turbulence are close to 10-2. Is it a good convergence? Kind regards. Chouki

Setting residual values to 1e-4 or 1e-6 by experience is the one way of checking for the convergence.

But for some case monitoring some of the flow parameters with respect to the number of iterations ( Time step for Transient) is the best way of judging the convergence.

You may check the variations in pressure/ velocity /temperature with reference to the iterations.Once this curve becomes stable/ periodic , then we can conclude that solutuion is converged.
