The only exportation option in my fluent is fieldview unstructured data, with a suffix fvuns and fvreg. But when I import the data into fieldview by using unstructrued method, the resulatant geometry changed. All of my cylinders and curved surfaces became cuboids and flat surface.
I also tried to export fluent result as a fvc format for rampant-fluent method or unv format for fluent method, but there are no such options in my Fluent. Anybody has experiences on this? Thanks for your help in advance. |

I've never used fieldview before. But for Tecplot, I think a CGNS is more convenient that others. So, maybe you could try to export data in some other format?

In the newer versions of fieldview there is a fluent direct reader that will read fluent case/data files.
Also, if you export from fluent using text commands there is more options for fieldview exports. |
