Hi everyone!
I have been trying 2 use Fluent on a Linux based m/c and am having trouble with it. The issue is that I'm accessing the system via a remote terminal(using xwin32 and WinSCP)and each time I try to complile a UDF in Fluent, I get a list of errors like variables not being initialized, etc. I know for a fact that the UDF and the case files are right as they has been run from this m/c before. Does fluent have trouble accesing it because of the remote access?? I haven been trying 2 set this up for days now and keep running into trouble each time... I would appreciate all the help I can get!! thanks!!! |

I dont think there will be any trouble just because of remote access.
May be if you can post the error message, we can check what error it can be. Sorry I am of not much help. |

hey, thnks for the reply and sorry abt the delay! i was told that the prob was with the environment variables which weren't set for my user accnt (the UDF was initially run from someone else's accnt!). so i guess i would have 2 modify the .bashrc files to include all the programs i want 2 access...will post any updates!
