I don't immediately see this topic posted, but I'm sure it must have come up before...

I am trying to get a catia part file into iges or step format to import into Gambit while only capturing the wetted area geometry for external flow analysis.

Does anyone know if catia or solidworks has a function for capturing the water-tight shell of an object?
