Hi,
I was doing an optimization problem using fluent and modeFRONTIER, which is an optimization software. This requires that the drag force (that can be got from report -> forces, in Fluent) be exported from Fluent in the form of a file so that I can import it into modeFRONTIER after each design iteration. Is there anyway I can go about this? The export option sends structural force details of every node, which I do not want. I just want the force of a surface on the whole, as is given by the report -> force option. Can anybody suggest something ? Thanks much. |

Actually, it is quite easy. I failed to notice that we can write the result directly to a file and use this for the optimization process.
I have another question : when I try to run gambit in batch process, I have to use the dos command: gambit -inp name.jou But I keep getting the message : gambit is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable command or batch file. Does anybody know how to fix it? |

Did you find a solution to the problem with ModeFrontier and the dos command?
(gambit is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable command or batch file) |
