Hi folks,
I am running a simulation of air flowing through an open-ended channel under the atmosphere condition. The air movement is driven purely by the electrical body force. There is no initial flow at the inlet. It's a laminar steady flow. I tried SIMPLE and SIMPLEC for the pressure-velocity coupling. For pressure discretization, I tried several including Body Force Weighted. I also reduced URF every now and then during the calculation, but none of these trials suceeded in making the calculation converge. Upto a certain point, the calculation will go towards divergence. What should I do with it? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Regards, Jinfeng |

If it is not Multiphase flow, then try to intialize you solution with FMG (full multi grid solver). Definitly it will work.
