hi, my problem is evaporation of liq. H2 in a closed cylindrical tank that is filled upto some 80% or 60% level,due to application of constant heat flux on the tank. I havent seen any application for this problem in Fluent, even in manual, there is no example. I am presently using mixture model with UDF for source terms of mass and energy into liquid,vapor continuity equn and energy equn. it showing some rate of evaporation as there is decrease in quantity of liq. But i am still suspicious of my modeling, as there is no bench mark problem for this kind. Is there any other possiblity in Fluent or any other package..or the any modification to present problem.

I observed one defect in my program, even before the liquid is reaching the saturation temperature at the interface there is evaporation taking place. i provided the condition for sat. temp. what could be the reason? prasanth

I'm sorry but as long as I know there is no simple way, for my work it was easier to do several repeatedly calculations than find a solution in fluent.
