Hello, every1. I'm doing some CFD in the ladle stirred by the argon gas injected. This is a typical multiphase flow and also reactions between slag phase and the molten steel included.

Now, to evaluate the flow field in the ladle, i have no other good idea more than to calculate the mixing time using a tracer.

Some1 told me that before the mixing time is calculated i should get a steady flow field of the moltensteel and then switch on the species and transport model, but how should i do in fluent ? If some1 knows, plz tell me the procedure step by step. I appreciate for ur help sincerely. Raijin.
