?? zero diffusion coefficient ??

Hi all,
What are the consequence If I set the diffusion coefficient to zero*? Will it abolish the false diffusion or the software will still calculate the diffusion term and exhibit false diffusion? *Note that the type of the conservation equation might change Thx
