hello
i want to simulate one diaphragm micropump that actuated by electromagnetic or electrostatic scheme.in this way i want to modeled its actuation mechanism by a Distributed force (F(x,y,t)) that applied above the diaphragm. please guide me. best regards |

Hi,I am dealing with a micropump problem.
It's a 2D, laminar, unsteady, single-phase fluid flow in a reciprocating micropump with a oscillating boundary (T: period): in grid independency test, i refined the all mesh with a same factor for all edges and the time step was constant for different grids. Then, i gradually increase time step for time step independency test. 1-How much the time step order? 0.01T or 0.05T? since,as u know, a large time step decrease run time. 2. Have use of successive Refinement by Adapt Gradient (with velocity) same consept of grid study or no? Because, during of adaption, some grid remained coarse? |
