Hi everybody,

I used autosave for saving the fluent results every 40 times. When I wanted to load the results files in Tecplot, their format was case.h5 and dat.h5 instead of .case and .dat. I could not load the data since I encountered error in Tecplot. How can I solve my problem?

Sincerely,

Write a journal file, whichs open every case.h5 and dat.h5 file and save it again as a pur cas and dat file.

For future simulation look here.

Thank you for your help.
I changed the "FFF" in preferences of file into "legacy". The problem completely was solved

MK wrote their response on the assumption that you already had a bunch of cases accidentally saved in the newer h5 format and cannot load them into tecplot. Opening and saving them in the older format would therefore allow you to open them in tecplot.

Clearly, saving your simulation .cas and .dat in the first place would avoid this problem. But that was obvious obviously for obvious reasons

Interestingly your post described the former problem and didn't ask how to save in the older format.
