Hello everybody,
I have a question about interpolation of the results for same models [with different node arrangements and same Geometries.] As i know this is possible in CFX that we initially solve the model with fewer nodes for a while, then use the results as the initial values and run the same geometry with just higher number of nodes. Is this method possible in FLUENT? and how should i import the initial value file. regards, |

Hi everybody, hi Amir
I did it as the help manual...but the results are awkward...about 500 times bigger than what i expected. 1) I made a model with small number of nodes----> I solved it---> results look to be in-range.---> i saved an "Interpolate" file 2) I generated the same model with higher number of nodes---->I imported the "interpolate" file from step 1---> i ran the model https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Flu...ug/node137.htm as i told , the results are really bad.... what could be the cause? Hi,
Did you save all of the fields in interpolate file? velocity, pressure, .... Did you save the interpolate file of the converged solution? when you import the interpolate file in a finer grid, check all the fields and BCs before iteration. At last, maybe your solution hasn't converged yet. Bests,
