I would appreciate some advice for following build, wether to go for Xeon or EpycRome
small PS: Threadripper PRO seems to be an option vs EPYC according to https://www.servethehome.com/amd-thr...epyc-or-wepyc/ |

Hi Bram,
1/Dual socket Epyc Rome is the go. Please read the other HPC threads in the hardware forums. 2/a 2x 32 cores Epyc Rome workstation is 40% cheaper than a 64 cores threadripper pro workstation. 3/Do you use STAR-CCM+? Best regards, gui@trampoCFD |

Hi Gui,
I came across this thread and was wondering how the answer changes if one of the main use cases is Star-CCM+? |
