Request for updating the budget CPU recommendation (CFD applications)

Hi, CFD fans!

I can't find any updated benchmarks based on newly released budget CPUs.

Currently, I am in doubt between 13600K and 12500 for an 1M-cells CFD problem (CentOS. 7). The IPC is almost same, I am curious about AVX-512 function that may still available in older bios of 6 series motherboard.

Is it really worth to pay double for a 13600K+DDR5-5200 configuration?
The higher clock or cache makes for example 20 percent uplift or not?

It looks the 12500 can completely feed at 6 cores by DDR4-3200 CL14 with out RAM bottleneck.

Also, I am looking for a reliable benchmark on Fluent or OpenFOAM W/ and W/O E cores, Please share your experience.

I think you should go with OpenFOAM. The rest looks perfect!
