Hi, I am buying a new laptop for using ansys workbench and fluent.
I just graduated from Mechanical Engineering departmant. Right now I am trying to learn these programs. ( I learned basics from school) This is the laptop I decided to buy : Intel® Alder Lake Core i7-12700H 14C/20T; 24MB L3; E-CORE Max 3.50GHZ P-CORE Max 4.7GHZ;45W ;10nm S nVIDIA® GeForce® RTX3050 TI Max-Performance 4GB GDDR6 128-Bit DX12 RAM : 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 1.2V 3200MHz SODIMM SSD : 500GB CRUCIAL P2 PCIe M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 (Read 3200MB/S Write 940 MB/S) My question is here; should I change the SSD to this : 500 GB Crucial SSD P5 PLUS M.2 SSD PCle 4.0x4 (Read 6600MB/s Write 4000MB/s) Is it really important reading and writing ? If I change the SSD with these higher writing and reading quality, How much my pc's performance will improve ? Thank you. |
