Hi, I'm trying to run a pre-written example of KIVA code(to see how it works, it contains the main file(K3PR.f,KIVA3.f), all subroutines and input file for KIVAPREP and KIVA3V), can someone help and tell me the sequence of runnig the code?(which file should be copied where!) as far as I know,at first I should run K3PRE.F but I don't know where I should copy each input files?
Looking forward to receive a reply!! Thanks, Sanaz |

It is not easy to talk in general, because, since it is open, there are many modifications. In my case: 1. Mesh Generation Put k3prep.f (the source code, must be yours k3pr.f), comprep.i (variable definitions), iprep (the input file) in one directory. Compile k3prep.f and run it. you will have to correct some errors in k3prep.f, depending on the compiler (set functions to double precision versions and similar). otape17 is generated, it is the file with the mesh information for the processor. 2. Put kiva3.f (source), otape17, itape5 (the general input data file), itape18 (valve lift data, if it is a case with valves), comfuel.i, comkiva.i (variable definitions) in a directory. Rename otape17 to itape17. Compile kiva3.f (you will have to do some corrections depending on the compiler), and run the .exe obtained.
It will not be simple so zou can find usefull information on: http://www.erc.wisc.edu/modeling/modeling_index.htm http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~nordin/KJS/index.html |
