Hi,
I am trying to simulate the Vortex Induced Vibrations using Fluid Structure Interactions using FLUENT or CFX. The flow is predominantly LIQUID FLOW (Multicomponents) with only 2-3% vapor. Vapor phase is predominantly CO2. The Volume Fraction of Liquid Doesn't change throughout. Shall I Treat this as Homogeneous Fluid (with equivalent density and viscosity) or Model it as Multiphase Fluid as there are two phases exist. I have to get results in real Quick turn around time so making an assumption of Homogeneous Multicomponent fluid will be realistic or NOT? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
