Hello all,
I am new to CFD coding and have started with a relatively simple problem statement of "Incompressible flow of a viscous fluid through a pipe". But this simple problem too seems to be turning difficult for me. I have problems in the following areas- 1. I am not able to decide the discretisation scheme to be used for the space discretisation and for discretising the equation. 2. I am referring the book "Computational Fluid Dynamics by J. Blazek" but even after reading it i am not able to formulate a good algorithm for solving the problem. 3. It would be very helpful for me if you can tell me the guidelines one must follow before starting to write the code or create the algo for a particular problem. Thank you in advance. :-) |
