Default Mesh Generation Software

Hi,

I need to find an alternative to my current mesh generation package. Could anyone let me know which mesh generation packages are considered to be the best? I am looking to generate large (~ million cell) unstructured tet/hex meshes for CFD problems.

Also is there any decent freeware software available that could do the job? I use the open source Paraview package for post processing and consider it to be fairly good (good enough..)

Thanks

TJ.

Have a look at the meshing research corner(http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/sowen/mesh.html),it has links to a wide range of grid generating softwares.
