Hi,
I am simulating two phase flow using the level set method (finite volume). I have some problems in descretizing the surface tension term. Could anyone help me to find a descretized surface tension term? I do not how to descretize it correctly. Thanks, |

Compute gradient of volume fraction function to evaluate curvature
k=-grad (n) where n is the normal vector which is then = n = - (grad C) / abs(grad C) where C is the color VOF function. This is easily computed within the FV framework. Then force term in source F = sigma*k Hope this helps CFDtoy |

force term in source would be F = sigma*k*(grad C)
