Fluent UDF load and apply inlet velocity b.c.

Hi,
I am trying to define a non-uniform velocity inlet boundary condition to a domain using Fluent UDFs. I figured out how to do this using a mathematical description and the DEFINE_PROFILE function. What I would like to do is loading the exit velocity profile from a different case (but same face mesh and same coordinates) and simply apply it to the inlet rather that trying to specify it thru mathematical functions. Hopefully, I am understanding correctly... If the exit and inlet planes are, perhaps, a simple offset from each other or you can spatially interpolate from exit to inlet coordinates, you may be able to write a *.profs file of the exit conditions (Vx,Vy,Vz) and read it into the new analysis assigning the vector orientations to the inlet. This will work if the inlet and exits are spatially similar. However, the inlet vector magnitudes will not be conserved. The inlet vectors provide vector orientation only, not magnitude. When solving the new analysis, the local vector magnitudes will vary in response to the overall solution...only orientation will be maintained. Hope this helps!
