Hi,
I know there is a thread on this topic already, but as there is not a clear solution I am starting a new one based on my case. I am running STAR-CCM+ and I am getting an SIGSEGV: memory access exception error when I am trying to load some of my files (it mostly happens when these files have been already run and have some results). The funny thing is that I am getting this error only when I am trying to load my simulations parallel on local host (whatever the number of compute processes). When I am loading my simulation on a serial process (single core) then they work fine. My mesh quality is around 800K cells but my computer capabilities are very strong : 2 processors, 2.3 GHz, 24 cores, 64GB RAM I have seen there is someone else posted exactly the same error but I haven't seen any solutions so far. Any advice will be really appreciated. |
