can anyone tell me what is verification and validation standard used for cfd in companies |

William Oberkampf has published a number of articles (and I think a book also) on
the subject of cfd verification and validation. These should give you some guidance on the subject. |

Verification: Checking the programme is free from errors and bugs, subroutines and functions are calculating whatever they are supposed to calculate correctly, the logic is correct
Validation: Once a programme is verified, it is run on Standard cases and the output is compared to experimental results and known analytical solutions.
