Could anybody tell me the exact definition of "semi-discrete" form? It seems like a partial discretization of a given equation, e.g., discretizing spatial derivatives while leaving the temporal derivative intact.
d/dt (w) + (f_i-f_i-1)/h = 0. Thanks. |
