Hello,
I have to solve a fluid structure interaction problem with freefem ++. I solved the Navier-Stokes problem and I've got the fluid simulation. My problem is to couple this fluid flow with the structure deformation. Is there somebody which solved this kind of problem to help me ? I don't know how to define the deformation according to the fluid flow. Thank you in advance |

Have a look in the FreeFem++ manual. If memory serves correctly, there is an example of a beam interacting with something. This may set you on the right path.
Alternatively contact the FreeFem++ developers - Frederic is wonderfully helpful - he'll most certainly point you in the right direction. Enjoy using FreeFem++ - it is a wonderful, free tool - way ahead of its time. mw... www.adthermtech.com/wordpress3 |
