Hi, i've got a basic question.

When specifying plug flow for 2D flow, does one maintain the no slip condition at the boundaries? What's the penalty for not doing so, if any?

Actually, considering the grid corner in a structured grid you can never exactly say if it is either a wall or a flow node...

Thanks for the reply.

Does that apply only to grid corners? I'm asking with regards to the top and bottom boundaries of 2D flow

for example, in a 2d channel, the 2 inlet corners are singularity points but top and bottom boundaries must be prescribed as wall therefore no-slip condition for viscous flows
