Hi every body,
I'm trying to do a cavitation simulation with CFX. The fluid is a hydraulic oil. I know the material properties for the oil, but not for the vapor. Is there any body here who can help me with any thing regards to this issue? For the oil: Density= 872 kg m^-3 Specific Heat Capacity = 0.47 BTU lb^-1 F^-1 Dynamic Viscosity = 0.04 kg m^-1 s^-1 Thermal conductivity = 0.86 BTU/(ft^2 hr (F/ft)) Thanks in advance /Soolmaz |

Hi Soolmaz,
search this paper : THERMO-FLUID-DYNAMICS QUENCHING MODEL: EFFECT ON MATERIAL PROPERTIES In this paper you can find quenching oil vapor properties. |
