Hi to all, I'm doing a masters of engineering at the Yacht Research Unit of the University of Auckland (New-Zealand). I work on solving the incompressible NS equations on a 2D mast and yacht sail section using composite overlapping grids, with a turbulence model.
I have implemented a routine which calculates the lift and drag coefficients of my sail, and would like to test this on various shapes, such as 2D ellipses at various angles of attack and maybe naca foils. Where can I find these data results to compare to mine (simple inviscid non-turbulent cases would do for the moment)? I am also looking for pressure distributions around those so I can check if my graphs are correct. Thank you in advance, sincerely, Cyrille Douillet |
