Hi,
I am working on modeling the exhaust manifold for an FSAE car for a CFD analysis and am having trouble creating the fluid geometry for the venturi collector at the end of the exhaust headers. I have the 3D CAD model of the collector, but am having trouble hollowing it out in Solidworks so I can then define the fluid region when I bring the model into Ansys. Does anyone have any experience creating a model like this? Are there boundary conditions I can use to simulate the presence of this venturi collector if modeling the geometry isn't possible? Thank you in advance. |
