System Comparison proof transient <-> steady state

Hi,
I have two similar systems I. and II. I. is steady state and defined by these variables: - Distance A - Distance B - Volume flow C The resulting variable I am studying is T. II. is transient and defined by these variables: - Distance A - Distance B - Frequency f - Pressure P The resulting variable I am studying is T. The literature I have read hints to the conclusion that II. may be expressed as I., which would save me a lot of computation time. At the moment I am stuck with the following problem: How can I proof, that II. can be expressed as a modification of I. and how can I derive a set of equations, which describe the necessary modifications? e.g.: I thought about conducting DoE studies for I. and II. and using response surface methodology to find correlations. But I do not know if this would be either possible, or scientifically sound. Any advice or ideas? kind regards, Mabubel |
