I'm trying to find any published data with plot of Reynolds number vs Drag coefficient(i.e Re<10,000). Could any one mention any experimental data to me cause i'm using Fluent package which whenever i use high RE the cpu time doesn't allow me to continue iterating for long. Thanks

Are you sure? The Reynolds numbers around 10,000 occur on wings of little birds!
I found the explenation of Kroo interesting I found at: http://www.desktopaero.com/appliedaero/appliedaero.html Bird aerodynamics is done by: http://www.bio.bris.ac.uk/research/flight/flight.htm and Martin Hepple gives some hints on Aerodynamics of model airplaines which fly at very low Re-numbers too: http://beadec1.ea.bs.dlr.de/Airfoils/theory.htm |
