Hello everybody
is it correct to model half a missile with a bow shock in supersonic flow?
or I have to model full body?
Regards

siw will become famous soon enough
That would be reasonable unless there is non-symmetrical flowfield features e.g. body vortex shedding / trailing flow from fins due to moderate / high angle of attack (maybe with roll angle as well). Also, assuming you are not using a scale-resolving method.

If the geometry and flowfield are symmetrical maybe you can use 1/4 symmetry to save computational effort.
